What Mitigation Logbook collects when you agree to its texts, and for how long.
Who is responsible
Prasad Tilloo, Germany (see the Impressum). Contact: support@mitigationlogbook.com.
What is collected
- Your mobile number.
- The time you agreed to receive texts, and the wording you agreed to.
- Your replies to the texts, and the texts we sent you.
Why
Only to send the texts you asked for and to keep the record of your answers. The legal basis is your consent, which you give on the consent page and can withdraw at any time by replying STOP.
Mobile numbers and consent records are never sold. They are never shared for marketing or with third parties for their marketing.
Who handles it for us
Twilio delivers the texts and Amazon Web Services hosts the service. Both act on our behalf.
How long it is kept
- Mobile number: deleted 90 days after the case closes. A case that never closes loses the number 90 days after its last activity.
- Replies and the texts we sent: they are part of the mitigation receipt for the case, kept for 2 years after the case closes, then deleted together with the receipt.
- Consent and opt-out records: kept for 5 years as proof of consent.
Your rights
Write to support@mitigationlogbook.com to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to withdraw consent. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
